How much time is required to install the VENSI Ventilator?

It generally takes only 30 minutes to install the VENSI ventilator.


Where can I get the user manual for VENSI Ventilator?

VENSI includes an on-screen guide that also functions as the operational manual. A soft copy or hard copy of the user manual is provided during installation.


Is there any quick guide?

Yes, a quick guide is also provided during installation. It is recommended to keep it hanging on the ventilator stand at all times.


Do I need a compressor or High pressure air connection to operate the ventilator?

No, VENSI devices have an in-built turbine and do not require any external air source for operation.


Do I need external UPS for VENIS?

Yes, it is recommended to use a UPS at the site, especially if voltage fluctuations are frequent.


What is breathing cassette?

The breathing cassette is an integrated unit that consists of inspiratory and expiratory ports, a sterilization monitoring system, a flow sensor, and a safety valve assembly.

It is advisable to have two breathing cassettes with each machine—one can be sterilized while the other is in use.


Can I use VENSI without breathing cassette?

No, most of the essential pneumatic components are integrated into the breathing cassette. VENSI cannot be operated without it.


Is breathing cassette reusable?

Yes, the breathing cassette is fully autoclavable. It can be sterilized at high temperatures and reused after autoclaving.


How many times can I reuse the breathing cassette?

It can be reused for upto 300 autoclave cycles.


How frequent should it be sterlized ?

It is recommended to sterilize it before use with every new patient.


What if I don't sterlize the breathing cassette?

It is strongly recommended to sterlize the cassette after every patient, incase it is not sterlized properly the machine will register it in its record and the data log will be visible along with the alerts for the sterlization.


Will the machine stop working if the cassette is not sterlized?

No, Machine will work, but will keep on repeating the alarm for sterlization status.


What are other consumables and accessories required for the operation?

it is necessary to ensure that the machine had HEPA Filter, Breathing circuit, O2 sensor to ensure the operations of VENSI ventilator.


Can I use VENSI in transport?

VENSI can be used in intrahospital transport.


Can I use VENSI ventilator in MRI?

No, it is not recommended to use the device near an MRI machine.


How much battery backup VENSI has?

VENSI with one battery which comes as standard has a battery backup of 120 minutes. With a dual battery setup, backup time increases to up to 240 minutes.

What is the standard warranty for VENSI Ventilator?

The standard warranty for VENSI PRIME and NEO ventilators is 1 year.
For ADVANCE and PRO models, the standard warranty is 5 years from the date of billing, dispatch, or installation.


What does warranty cover?

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and issues due to material or workmanship.
This includes all critical components such as the blower, inspiratory valve, expiratory valve, etc.


What is not covered in warranty?

Warranty does not cover following
Physical damage - Issues caused by Physical damage due to shipment, handling, storage, accident, impact, abuse or misuse.
Consumables - Warranty does not covers any consumables including any filters, accessories, sensors etc
Accessories - Items such as batteries, breathing cassette, O2 cell, external modules, HEPA filter, UI screen, Inline O2 filter assembly, Pressure Regulator etc have a limited warranty of 6 months only from date of dispatch / manufacturing.
Operating conditions - If the machine is operated in environmental conditions outside of the recommended guidelines, the warranty may be void.
Unauthorized tempering - Any tampering by untrained personnel may endanger patient lives and is strictly prohibited. Such actions violate the warranty terms.
Third Party accessories and Consumables -Using accessories or consumables not recommended by Mediklik voids the warranty.
Non Maintenance - Failure to maintain the machine as per the recommended schedule will void the warranty.


Will my machine be replaced under warranty?

No. During the warranty period, we ensure maximum uptime by providing necessary spare parts as quickly as possible. Machines are repaired under warranty; only irreparable components will be replaced.


How to claim warranty?

Email service[at]vensi.in with the machine’s serial number, a copy of the invoice, and the installation report/warranty card.

What is the standard AMC/CMC period for VENSI Ventilator?

The standard AMC/CMC is 1 year. An optional one-time extended AMC/CMC for 3 years can be pre-purchased while ordering the machine.


How may Preventive maintanence visits are provided in AMC/CMC?

One preventive maintenance visit is provided every 6 months, subject to user availability. Frequency may vary if special conditions are agreed upon for an additional charge.


Can I cancel my AMC/CMC agreement?

No. Once signed, the agreement cannot be canceled, and no refunds will be issued.


Can I transfer AMC/CMC agreement to other ventilator?

No. Agreements are specific to the serial number of the device and are non-transferable.


What does AMC/CMC cover?

AMCCovers labor only; spare parts must be purchased post-warranty.
CMC Covers manufacturing/material defects and all critical components such as blowers, valves, etc.


What is not covered in AMC/CMC ?

AMC/CMC does not cover following,
Physical damage - Issues caused by Physical damage due to shipment, handling, storage, accident, impact, abuse or misuse.
Consumables - AMC/CMC does not covers any consumables including any filters, accessories, sensors etc
Accessories -All the accessories, like batteries, breathing cassette, external modules, HEPA filter, UI screen, Inline O2 filter assembly, Pressure Regulator etc are not covered under AMC/CMC
Operating conditions - If the machine is constantly being used in the environment and conditions outside the recommedations, no parts will be considered under AMC/CMC
Unauthorized tempering - Any tempering caused by any untrained/unauthorised personal may put the life of patinets in danger, and hence any such acitivities is highly discouraged, it also violates the AMC/CMC conditions, and no parts will be covered under AMC/CMC once any such activities is registered.
Third Party accessories and Consumables - If machine is being used with any accessories or consumables which are not recommended by Mediklik, this violates the terms of AMC/CMC and no parts or spare is considered to be replaced under this condition.
Non Maintenace - If the machine is not being maintained as per recommended frequency, warranty is considered to be void.


Will my machine be replaced under AMC/CMC?

No. We aim to ensure maximum uptime. Machines are repaired, and only unrepairable components are replaced.

How to claim AMC/CMC?

Please write a mail to service(at)vensi.in to register complaint, along with the serial number of the machine, copy of Invoice and AMC/CMC agreement.

What are the timelines for resolving Service Concerns?

After logging your concern, expect on-call support within 2 hours and an engineer visit within 48–72 hours.

Can I request training for my department?

Yes, you can write a mail to service(at)vensi.in and raise a request for training.

Can I get a demonstration of VENSI ventilator?

Yes, demonstrations and training are provided during installation. Videos are also available on the VENSI YouTube channel.

Will I get any loaner machine or temporary substitute from Mediklik, if my machine is down?

In select cases and subject to availability, a loaner may be provided if downtime exceeds 72 hours.

Note: It may not match the configuration/model. Loaners are not guaranteed in all situations, it completely depends upon the availability of the loaner machines.

What should I do if VENSI ventilator stops working?

What are the working hours of service support?

Service assistance is available during weekdays, Monday to Friday, from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.
